After a 14-day trial, Leadfeeder was a “great tool” but not something they would be subscribing to anytime soon.
They had some valid points & concerns… As a B2B SAAS startup* with a customer self-service sales model, they had no outbound sales workforce to manually follow up and take action on all the leads we helped them uncover.
However, I felt like there was another use case that they had not considered, one that could be a real game-changer for them! I fully respected their decision to not move forward with us but I wanted to at least make them aware of it, since I strongly felt like it could really aid with their Marketing efforts.
They heard me out, praised me for bringing it to their attention and ended up giving Leadfeeder another shot.
At no point did it ever cross my mind that my approach would inspire my contact at the company to write an article.
